Chocolate Making Events / Classes
3rd generation Swiss Chocolatier, Marianne Manes, will guide you through an all-inclusive Chocolate Making experience that includes a gift box brimming with a special selection of Coco Suisse chocolates and chocolate wine pairing tips.
Truffle Making Event
Marianne will start off by showing you how to make truffle ganache, the chocolate and cream / butter mixture you fill chocolates with or layer a cake with, or just spoon into your mouth directly as a treat.
We’ll send you that ganache pre-made so we can all roll out four truffles together.
Then we’ll cover the truffles in cocoa powder or powdered sugar which is included in your package, or you can use your own choice of toppings.
Direct Chocolate Tempering / Dipping Class
You'll learn how to properly melt chocolate and all of the ways you can dip your preferred goodies so they come out perfectly each time.
You'll receive our Coco Suisse Dark Chocolate for Melting and our Coco Suisse Organic Short Bread to start. You will have more than enough dipping chocolate to bring your own strawberries, nuts, dried fruit, and whatever else you would like to try dipping!
Wine Pairing. In both classes, Our über talented and dear friend George Pitsironis, who makes his own amazing wine and was sommelier at Spago and Pacific Dining Car here in Los Angeles... will put together a list of wines for you to pair with our different chocolates. George will have great suggestions that you may already have or can go buy at your local wine store ahead of our evening.

Gruyères & Gstaad Cheese and Chocolate Tour
Visit the iconic medieval village of Gruyères. Wander the medieval streets and visit La Maison de Gruyères to watch the master cheese makers at work. Follow a peaceful riverside path to the Cailler Chocolate Factory— and explore some of Switzerland’s most iconic foods: cheese and chocolate.
